What we collect through this site, and what we do with it.

Effective October 28, 2026

This policy explains what information prismentmt.com collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. The site is run by Prism Entertainment LLC, a production company in Los Angeles, California. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Prism Entertainment.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us, plus the basic technical information that any website receives.

  • Mailing list. If you join our list, we collect your email address. We also learn which page or link brought you to sign up, so we know which of our posts and emails are working.
  • Project inquiries. If you use the Start a project form, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, company or project name, the kind of project, what you need made, your timing, your budget range and any message you write.
  • Technical information. When you visit, the services that run the site receive standard information from your browser, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the page you came from. We don't use this to identify you.

We don't ask for payment details, government ID numbers or other sensitive information through this site. Please don't include them in an inquiry.

How we use it

  • To reply to your inquiry, put together a proposal and keep track of our conversation about your project.
  • To send our mailing list occasional updates about new projects, screenings and releases, if you subscribed.
  • To understand which outreach and pages bring people to us, so we can improve them.
  • To keep the site and our forms working and free of spam.

We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.

Services that handle your information

We use a small number of outside services to run the site. They handle your information on our behalf, under their own privacy policies:

  • beehiiv runs our mailing list and its signup form. Its signup script also records the page and link that brought you to sign up.
  • HubSpot stores project inquiries in our contact records.
  • GitHub Pages hosts the site and serves its pages and images.
  • Google Fonts supplies the site's typeface, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads.
  • YouTube and Instagram play some of our videos. Their players load only after you press play, and YouTube runs in its privacy-enhanced mode. Once a player loads, YouTube or Instagram may set their own cookies.

Some pages link to other sites, such as Spotify, IMDb, Instagram and our project pages. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy doesn't cover.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to it.

Cookies and browser storage

This site doesn't use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Our own pages store one small note in your browser for the length of your visit, so the opening animation doesn't replay each time you return to the homepage. The services above may set their own cookies when you use them, for example when you sign up for the list or play a video.

Our site doesn't track you across other websites, and it doesn't change its behavior in response to "Do Not Track" signals, because there's no tracking for those signals to turn off.

How long we keep it

We keep mailing list addresses until you unsubscribe. We keep inquiry details for as long as they're useful for working with you or responding to a future project, and we delete them when you ask.

How we protect it

The site runs over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and your information is stored with the services listed above rather than on our own servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit who can access your information and use reputable providers.

Your choices and rights

  • Unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of any email from us.
  • See, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing teddy@prismentmt.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
  • Turn off cookies or clear browser storage in your browser settings. The site still works without them.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under local law. Email us and we'll help you exercise them.

Children

This site is meant for adults and businesses. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also note it on the site or in an email to the mailing list.
